De activiteiten die bijdragen aan deze doelstelling zijn onderdeel van de activiteiten die beschreven zijn bij de andere vier doelstellingen.
Dit is 60 procent van het totale aantal nieuwe hiv-infecties in de leeftijdsgroep 15-24 jaar.
De naam ASK verwijst naar Access, Services and Knowledge (Toegang, Diensten en Kennis) uit de Engelstalige titel van het project: ASK (Access, Service and Knowledge): what young people want, what young people need.

In 2015 werd middels twee onderzoeken nog meer bewijs gepresenteerd dat PrEP (Pre-Exposure Profylaxis) werkt als bescherming tegen hiv.
De richtlijn die voor het project gevolgd is, schreef voor dat mensen met hiv moesten starten met hiv-remmers bij een CD4-waarde onder de 350. Sinds 2015 is het advies van de WHO om iedereen met hiv, ongeacht de CD4-waarde, te behandelen met hiv-remmers.
De Stop AIDS Alliance is een samenwerkingsverband tussen STOP AIDS NOW! en de International HIV/aids Alliance.
Het Global Fund is wereldwijd een van de belangrijkste financiers van de aidsbestrijding, en wordt door de Nederlandse overheid als zeer effectief instrument beoordeeld.

Rutgers heeft de leiding over het project, STOP AIDS NOW! is naast AMREF Flying Doctors, Simavi ,CHOICE, dance4life en IPPF een van de alliantieleden.

Health Tomorrow is het netwerk van mensen met hiv in de Ethiopische plaats Godino. Het netwerk brengt mensen met hiv samen en organiseert met steun van STOP AIDS NOW! bewustwordingsactiviteiten in het dorp.

De ArtBag is onze tas met kunstopdruk waarmee mensen de aidsbestrijding kunnen steunen.
Deze ratio geeft aan hoeveel is besteed aan de doelstelling (het realiseren van onze missie) ten opzichte van de totale baten.

Van iedere € 100 die in 2015 is uitgegeven hebben we ruim € 90 besteed aan het realiseren van onze missie. Ter vergelijking: in 2014 besteedden de grote goede doelen die meededen aan de Transparant Prijs gemiddeld 84,3 procent van de totale lasten aan de doelstelling.

De stichting bezit het officiële keur voor goede doelen, het keurmerk van het Centrale Bureau Fondsenwerving (CBF). Eén van de eisen van dit CBF-Keur is dat de kosten van eigen fondsenwerving niet meer dan 25 procent bedragen. Er mag dus per saldo niet meer dan € 0,25 worden uitgegeven om € 1 te werven. In 2015 gaf de stichting hier € 0,13 aan uit en bleef daarmee onder de grens die het CBF stelt.
We vinden het belangrijk dat er zoveel mogelijk geld naar onze projecten gaat. Daarom streven we ernaar de kosten van beheer en administratie zo laag mogelijk te houden. Ons doel is om deze kosten te beperken tot tussen 3 en 6 procent van de totale lasten.
